Homemade Scones

Awhile back my fellow blogger Katie challenged me to make my own Scone mix instead of using the box kind. I took that challenge……then kinda forgot about it for like 6 months. So here it is FINALLY. Before I made the homemade ones I thought there wouldn’t be much of a difference between the two. But I was surprised to find I really did like the homemade ones better than the mix ones. They are so simple and easy to throw together, so I am now team homemade! This time around I made blueberry ones,

1 3/4 c all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt
6 Tbsp. cold butter cut into cubes
1/3 c milk or water
2 beaten eggs
Fruit of your choice(optional)
Sprinkling sugar(optional)
Homemade whipped cream(optional)
