Homestyle King Ranch Chicken Casserole

Another recipe I wanted to make my own. I had always bought the tortilla soup kits and followed the recipe on the label for King Ranch Chicken Casserole. They do fresh ingredients, but the spice packet and chicken were questionable. This is one of our favorites that we serve with a pico salad on the side with a squeeze of lime. 2 cups diced chicken breast
1/4 c butter
1/2 c chopped green pepper
1/2 c chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans rotel tomatoes with green chilies (undrained)
Dash of cumin, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper
2 c shredded mexican blend cheese
12 taco shells, broken into pieces
1/4 c butter
1/2 c chopped green pepper
1/2 c chopped onion

1 can cream of mushroom soup

Preheat oven to 325?
Saute chicken in butter, then add green pepper, onion and garlic. Cook about 5 min.
