We all know brining and poultry love each other and southern girls and cooking fried chicken do as well..however, I do not want or need the fat from all of the batter and skin, so I thought brining the chicken might work..it did! Give it a try..don't get me wrong, nothing will ever beat the southern fried chicken I grew up on, but this is a close, healthier alternative! Hope you enjoy it!!

3 cups cold water
1/4 cup sea salt
1/2 cup of honey
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
