Hummingbird Cake (without nuts)

Hummingbird Cake (without nuts) has banana and pineapple, topped with traditional cream cheese frosting.

For the cake:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups mashed banana
1 can crushed pineapple, drained (8 ounces)
1 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

For the frosting:
1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounces)
1/2 cup butter, softened (1 stick)
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
