I made these pancakes for my son and he said they could be served at ihops they are so good. fresh peeled and sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon really make this a true ihop dish.

4c peeled , cored and sliced apples
2tb lemon juice
1/2c pecans
1/4c butter
1/2c milk
3/4c firmly packed brown sugar
11/2 tb cornstarch
1tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1c buttermilk pancake mix
2tb brown sugar
1tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 c milk
powdered sugar (optional)
