1. Grate all the carrots into very thin shreds.
2. Crush the cardamoms, pistachio and almonds(each separately). Heat a pan and add butter to it.
3. Once butter melts down, add sugar and crushed cardamom.
4. Add the grated carrots and milk. Keep cooking and stirring the carrots on a low to medium flame till the entire milk gets absorbed /evaporated.
5.Adjust sugar as per taste. Garnish it with pistachio and almonds.
Carrot dessert(gajar halwa) is ready to be served.
