Chutney (also transliterated chatney or chatni) is a family of condiments from South Asian cuisine that usually contain some mixture of spice(s), vegetable(s), and/or fruit(s). There are many varieties of chutney. I am sharing the recipe of one of them - tomato chutney.

4 tomatoes (peeled and blanced)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp. oil
1/4 tsp. musturd seeds(rai)
salt – to taste
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
Heat oil in a pan and add blanched tomatoes and ginger garlic paste to it and saute.
Add all the spices and cook it for 2 mins.
Tomato chutney is ready.
