Indian Wheat Flour Sheera by Neharika

Aate ka sheera is yet another sweet dish made from wheat flour. It is often eaten in breakfast. And its sheera so ofcourse it has lots of ghee/Clarified butter in it.

4 cups sugar
1 cup wheat flour (aata)
1 cup butter (ghee)
1/4 tsp. cardomom powder
1/2 cup chopped almonds and pistachios
6 cups hot water
Heat ghee in a pan. Then add wheat floor and keep on stirring it until it becomes light brownish in colour and a sweet smell starts coming out of it. Now add sugar and mix well. Then add some water and stir. Then add some more water and stir. Keep on repeating this process until sheera comes to correct consistency. Now add cardomom powder and mix well. Garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachios.
