Italian Sloppy Joes

1 pound turkey italian sausage
1/2 onion chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 bell pepper
3 cloves garlic
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon of Italian seasonings
Cook onion, bell pepper & garlic in oil until onions are translucent then add sausage until thoroughly cooked, add tomatoes, brown sugar & seasonings & heat until desired temperature ! Garnish with fresh parsley or basil over whole wheat buns if desired also great topped with mozzarella cheese !
