Jalapeno Cornbread Crusted Chili

I had this box of corn bread mix hanging out in my pantry forever and I noticed that is was close to expiration and thought it would go perfectly for Jalapeno Cornbread Crusted Chili. I decided I would make my black bean turkey chili and then add the cornbread on top. We have chili any time of the year because it is a quick and easy meal that everyone likes. 2 green bell peppers
1 large yellow onion
4 T chili powder
2 t cumin powder
1 t chipotle powder
2 t worcestershire sauce
1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 26.5 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
1 lb minced turkey
1 c of water
1 8.5 box of cornbread muffin mix
1 4 oz can diced jalapenos
6 oz shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
