1 cup butter

Blend sugar and butter together until pale. Add in eggs and vanilla, mix until combined. In a separate bowl mix dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients 1/3 at a time. After the second addition of the flour mixture, add in the milk. Mix in the last third of the flour mixture. Refrigerate for and hour before rolling out on a floured surface.
