Kickin' Spiced Nuts
Spiced nuts. A little bit of sweet, a little bit of spice. Perfect protein snack to get you by until you can get to some real food, not that drive-thru crap stuff. Did you know that just 8 almonds has the same amount of protein as a 1/4 lb hamburger patty? I know, right? Only these nuts offer a heck of a lot more flavor than plain out-of-the-bag nuts. Go ahead, have some. You'll never look at nuts the same again.

2 egg whites
1/4 C sugar
1 tsp pepper
1 T salt
1/2 tsp Cayenne
1/2 tsp coriander
2 T chili powder
1 C Almonds
1 C Cashews
1 C Peanuts
1 C Pecans
1/2 C Sunflower seeds
1 C Dried Cranberries
1/4 C sugar
1 tsp pepper
1 T salt
1/2 tsp Cayenne
1/2 tsp coriander

Whisk egg whites until fluffy
Add sugar and spices and whisk until well combined
Add nuts and berries and mix until well coated
Bake on parchment paper on cookie sheet @350* for 12-15 min until golden
