Lamb paya soup is very tasty and nutritious..

10 Lamb Trotters, paya cut in two
4 Onion Medium
10 Garlic Cloves
½Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
8Cloves Green Cardamoms
4 Cinnamon 2" Stick
Salt to Taste
Ghee ½Cup
Red Chilli Powder ½Teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder½Teaspoon
Fresh Coriander Leaves, chopped
Garam Masala Powder 1Teaspoon
Lemon Juice 1 Tablespoon
1.Wash payas thoroughly. Cut two onions into quarters and finely slice the remaining. Make a paste of the quartered onions and garlic. 2.In a large pot add fifteen cups of water and payas. Add onion paste, turmeric powder, cloves, green cardamoms, cinnamon and salt. 3.Cook for four hours on low heat . 4.Boil till the payas are tender. If required, add another two to three cups of water. 5.Heat ghee in a pan and fry sliced onions till golden brown. Add red chilli powder and pepper powder. 6.Add to payas and cook for five minutes. Strain the liquid and separate the payas from the residue. 7.Heat the strained liquid with coriander leaves, garam masala powder and the payas. 8.Remove from heat when ghee appears on top. Add lemon juice.
