Mawneye - Slow cooked lamb recipe

This is a hearty stew that includes basil and figs. It is great for a special occasion or just a weeknight meal.

1 1/4 pounds lean lamb
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Juicy Lamb Wiener Schnitzel

Wiener schnitzel is the national dish of Austria. This recipe uses lamb for a flavorful pan-fried cutlet. Adding some dried herbs and spices elevates the flavor and helps remove the gameyness of the lamb.

Curried Lamb

I grew up eating lamb chops with mint jelly. This lamb curry is a nice change from the same old way of eating lamb.

You can add a touch of lemon zest or lemon juice to add a zing to the dish. You could also add vegetables such as potatoes and carrots to add additional a body to the dish.

2 ounces ginger
3 ounces onion
4 cloves garlic
2 tbsp vegetable oil
