The tangy frozen lemonade in the frosting makes these easy cupcakes a hit with everyone who loves lemon desserts!

1 (18 1/4-ounce) box white cake mix
1 box instant lemon pudding mix
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
8 oz. sour cream
1 tbsp grated lemon zest
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 pound confectioners’ sugar
