Lime Zest Angel Cupcakes with ice cream, whipped cream and macadamia nuts

A delicate sweet and tart cupcake and ice cream combination. Perfect for summer!

Lime Infused Angel Cupcakes:
Betty Crocker Anglefood cake mix
mixed with 1/2 C Lime juice
2 heaping Tablespoons Lime zest
3/4 C water

mix all together with whisk and bake according to package directions

Lime Zest Ice Cream ~ Phili Style:
2 C heavy whipping cream
1 C milk
3/4 C sugar
1/2 lime juice
2 heaping Tablespoons lime zest

Whisk all ingredients together, pour into ice cream maker. @ 30 minutes in the mixer then freeze to set

Fresh Whipped Cream:
1 C heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/4- 1/3 C powdered sugar
Beat at medium/high speed until soft peaks form
Chill until ready to use
mix all together with whisk and bake according to package directions
