Linguica Spaghetti

I am always trying to find new ways to prepare spaghetti, but I get bored with the traditional red sauce. My family loves spaghetti with sausage, so I created this linguica spaghetti with a nice creamy sauce. This is a quick dish, perfect for a weeknight. It was a hit with my clan. Enjoy!

1Tbsp olive oil
2 linguica sausages cut into bite size pieces
1/2 med white onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups water
1 package of Knorr Vegetable recipe mix
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 ounces spaghetti cooked al dente
Cook the 8 ounces of pasta as directed on package while you are cooking the sauce. Drain and set aside. Heat olive oil in pan. Add chopped white onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Add linguica sausage, cook until slighty browned. There should be some sauce accumulating in the pan. Pour in the 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to gentle boil. Add the entire package of Knorr Vegetable recipe mix, and continue to boil until sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and add the heavy cream, mix well. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well
