Peel and chop lotus stem and clean its holes properly
boil potatoes and lotus separate
Mash them together and add all the ingredients except gram flour
Take a frying pan
make dough of gram flour in such way so that you can dip tikki in it
deep fry till crispy
serve with green chatani
