1 bag bowtie pasta
2 skinless boneless chicken breasts- grilled
1T Butter or Margarine
1 small Yellow Pepper- chopped
1 small Red Bell Pepper- chopped
1/2 Red Onion- chopped
3 Garlic Cloves- minced
1t Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 Pint Whipping Cream
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1T Dried Basil (or 3T fresh basil)
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese- Grated
1 Cup Sliced Mushrooms (Optional)
2 skinless boneless chicken breasts- grilled
1T Butter or Margarine
1 small Yellow Pepper- chopped
1 small Red Bell Pepper- chopped
1/2 Red Onion- chopped
3 Garlic Cloves- minced
1t Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 Pint Whipping Cream
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1T Dried Basil (or 3T fresh basil)
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese- Grated
1 Cup Sliced Mushrooms (Optional)
1: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
2: Add yellow and red bell peppers, red onion and mushrooms (if you choose to use them) to the same skillet until crisp and tender, usually about 4 minutes.
3: Add garlic and crushed red pepper flakes to the skillet and sauté 3 minutes.
4: Add whipping cream and chicken broth. Simmer until sauce reheats and thickens. This will take about 5 minutes.
5: Stir in basil and parmesan cheese; reduce heat to low.
6: Allow sauce to simmer while cooking the pasta & grilling the chicken breast. Toss the pasta and chicken with the sauce and enjoy!
