M&M Oatmeal Cookies

Soft, buttery, and chewy, these cookies are made with oat flour so that they have a great texture that my kids love. Fast and easy homemade goodness!

½ cup (1 stick) plus 6 tablespoons butter, softened
¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups old-fashioned oats, uncooked
1 cup miniature M&M’s candies (if you can’t find the mini M&M’s, you can substitute regular M&M’s or even just use chocolate chips)
