This is a perfectly balanced side dish. Sweet and tangy, it is fresh and delicious!

1 small bunch of asparagus, wooden stems removed
2 teaspoons real maple syrup
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 1/4 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, pressed
