A perfect breakfast scone made with pure maple syrup, pecans, and oats.

For the scones

2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup quick oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
6 tablespoons cold butter
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup pure maple syrup

For the topping

2 tablespoons milk
1-2 teaspoons sugar

For the glaze

1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon maple essence/extract
