Maple Sausage Tater Tot Casserole

This breakfast dish is a new family favorite. Perfect for Sunday brunch!

1 1/2 cup frozen hash brown tater tots
3/4 cup skim milk
12 eggs (6 egg whites, 6 egg yolks)
1 package Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles
1/2 cup mozzarella shredded cheese, reduced fat
1/2 cup triple cheddar shredded cheese, reduced fat
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup maple syrup, light
Black pepper, to taste
-Take hash brown tater tots out of freezer and allow to thaw for 5 min. -Spray bottom of glass casserole dish with Pam butter spray. -Cut tater tots in half and line bottom of casserole dish. -Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over tater tots. -Layer sausage evenly over top. -Pour maple syrup over sausage and layer with onions. -Beat eggs with milk until mixed well. Do not over beat eggs. -Pour eggs over top of tots and sausage. -Add pepper to taste. -Sprinkle cheddar cheese over eggs. -Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until middle is no longer runny.
