A maple snickerdoodle cookie with a maple cinnamon frosting.

1/2 C Unsalted butter, browned.
1/4 C Sugar
3/4 C Light brown sugar
1 Large egg
1/2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
3 tbsp Maple syrup
1 1/2 C Flour
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
For the coating
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Cinnamon
For the frosting
1/2 C Butter, softened
2 C Powdered sugar
1 tbsp Heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp Maple syrup
2 tsp Cinnamon
