Melt in your Mouth Sugar Cookies

A light buttery cookie coated in sugar with a delicious butter cream - because two cookies are always better than one.

Cookie:
1 c. butter (softened)
1/3 c. whipping cream
2 c. white flour
Sugar (for dipping)

Frosting:
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp almond extract
Food coloring (Whatever color you desire!)

Mix 1 c. butter, cream (not whipped), and flour thoroughly. Roll into a cylinder, cover, and chill. (Dough will be fragile!) Heat oven to 375. Cut cylinder into 1 1/2 inch cookies. Dip each cookie in sugar...
