These adorable pinwheel cookies transform into Mickey and Minnie sweetness with just a touch of food coloring and tiny candy whimsy!

1 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
