Gorgeous fudgy cupcakes with a hint of mint and chocolate chips topped with minty buttercream frosting

100g flour (plain)
20g cocoa
120g sugar
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
40g butter (softened)
120ml milk
1 egg
A couple of drops of mint essence or extract
100g milk chocolate (chopped or chips) – save a little for on top of the frosting.

Frosting:
56g butter (softened)
1 cup icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon mint extract or essence
1/4 tablespoon milk
