Mint Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Brownies

Brownies:
•1/2 cup butter
•8 ounces semisweet chocolate - finely chopped
•1 and 1/4 cups sugar
•3 large eggs
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•3/4 cup all-purpose flour
•1/4 teaspoon salt
- you may use your own favorite brownie recipe or use a box mix in replacement

Cheesecake Layer:
•8 ounces cream cheese, softened
•1/4 cup sugar
•1 egg
•1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract (or more, depending on preferred taste)
•2 drops green food coloring
•2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
