Mom's Brownies

These are the brownies I grew up on and prefer to this day! Very cake like and can be topped with frosting or powdered sugar, or nothing at all!

3 cubes butter or margarine softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
¾ t. salt
3 cup flour
½-1 cup baking cocoa
1 T. vanilla extract
