Mom’s Cheesy Cauliflower Side Dish

This isn’t your typical cauliflower dish… the cauliflower is tossed in a sweet, creamy mustard-type sauce (giving it the sweet taste) and then covered with cheese. Growing up, my mom would ALWAYS make this. It is actually a side dish that we, as kids, would fight over. My mom would always have to make sure we had equal portions because it would always get polished! It is so cheesy and good. We never had leftovers!

1 head cauliflower
½ c. Miracle Whip (or Mayo, whichever you prefer--my mom always made it with MW)
1 Tbsp mustard
1 Tbsp. sugar (if you use Miracle Whip you can cut down on the sugar to your liking)
1 c. shredded cheese
Break cauliflower apart into smaller pieces. Steam (or boil) cauliflower and drain well of all excess water. In a small bowl, combine Miracle Whip (or Mayo), mustard and sugar, mix until sugar is well...
