1/3 cup shortening
1/3 cup butter (5 1/3 Tbsp)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups plus 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
Frosting:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened/room temperature
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp milk
