Oatless Apple Crisp

PREP: Grease 9 x 9" baking dish PREHEAT: Oven 300 F BAKE: 45 minutes MAKES: 9 servings

3 lbs. about 6 Lg. Baking Apples, peel, core and slice
1 C. White Sugar
½ tsp. Cinnamon to taste
1 C. White Sugar
1 C. Flour
½ C. Butter, cold
Opt: ¼ tsp. Nutmeg
Serve with Ice Cream or Whipped Topping
Place Apples in dish, cover with White Sugar and Cinnamon. Blend together next 3 Ingredients with a pastry blender, sprinkle over Apple mixture and bake until Apples are tender and top is crisp.
