Like I’ve said before I have an old Better Homes & Gardens cookbook. It has seen better days, but it is still my go to cookbook. Especially for muffins. My family loves muffins, any kind of muffins. I have tweaked this recipe a bit to our liking, but it will work with any add ins you can imagine. This time around I made Oatmeal Blueberry Streusel Muffins, but the combinations and options are endless.

1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 large beaten egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
Add ins
1 cup Blueberries ( you could add in cranberries, banana, strawberries, etc)
Streusel
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp butter
