Old Fashioned Baked Chocolate Fudge Pudding
149
This tastes good warm, but I think it tastes even better (and more chocolatey) after it’s been in the frig overnight. It’s especially good after the second or third day – if it lasts that long.

Cream together:
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1.5 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1.5 tsp. baking powder
Slowly stir in 1/2 cup milk to the creamed mixture. Pour mixture into well greased baking dish.
Mix 1 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa together. Sprinkle this over top of the creamed batter. Don’t stir.
Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water over the brown sugar/cocoa layer. Don’t stir.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. The creamed batter rises to the top while baking – making it like a cake, while the fudge pudding settling on the bottom.
