Ooey-Gooey Oatmeal Bars
Who doesn’t love an ooey gooey oatmeal bar? They are delicious and nutritious in my book! They are good for an after school snack, dessert, or you can send them to school as a snack. I also love this recipe because it is so simple and I usually have all the ingredients on hand. These are also great because you can use whatever flavor jam your family prefers. I hope you will try these!

1 c softened butter
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c all-purpose flour
2 c old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c jam of your choice

Preheat oven to 375. Grease the bottom of a 9x12 baking pan.
With an electric mixer beat butter until smooth. Add in brown sugar and vanilla, beat until blended.
