4 large apples ( peeled, cores removed, and sliced thin I like to use Granny Smith )

2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice ( divided )
1/2 c. caramel bits
Streusel Topping:
1/2 c. butter ( melted )
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. old fashioned oats
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans ( chopped )
pinch of salt
