Drippy, heavy, nutty, divine peanut butter cake. That’s what the real title of this cake should be, but I figured that would be a little too clumsy of a title to type out when I bake it every single week for the rest of my life. This cake was a fine Paula Dean discovery; something that dreams are truly made out of. I still remember when I first feasted upon this recipe: lotsa butter+lotsa peanut butter+lotsa chocolate. 1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup demerara sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs
For the frosting
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
