This oatmeal is fail-proof and great for mornings where everyone needs to eat breakfast quickly because you can prepare it the night before.

2 cups uncooked oatmeal
2 cups milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 cups water
2 pears, cubed (skins on or off, your choice)
1 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
