Pecan Sandies with Toffee

Buttery cookies loaded with pecans and toffee bits. Yum!

1 cup butter (no substitutes)
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup oil (I use canola)
2 eggs
1 tsp almond extract
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups toffee bits
1/2 cup Sugar for rolling cookies
