This is a lovely quick bread to use up the late summer bounty. You could use sour cream or vanilla yogurt. Perfect with a cup of coffee.

2 cups diced Italian plums
3 cups flour
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup vanilla yogurt (I used sour cream)
