It is one of the authentic Maharashtrian (Konkani) recipes. Pomfret fry is a speciality from the coastal area throughout Mumbai and Maharashtra. It’s very simple, easy and tasty dish which can be served for lunch, brunch or dinner.

1. Pomfret Fish 2lb
2. Salt to taste
3. Oil to Shallow Fry
4. Rice Flour or Corn Flour - 4-5 tbsp
5.Gram (Chickpea or Besan) Flour - 2 tbsp
6.Garlic and Ginger Paste -1 tbsp
7.Lemon juice- 1tbsp
8.Red chilli powder -1 tbsp
9.Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
