A hearty classic soup that will fill you up with chunks of potato, slivers of bacon, and corn dashed throughout.

2 large russet potatoes
½ lb bacon, cooked
3 ears corn
3 stalks celery
2 carrots
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups milk
1 tsp black pepper
