Pull Apart Cinnamon Bundt Cake

Need to make some cinnamon rolls and do not have enough time? Here is an excellent recipe for with a similar taste. Best of all, super easy!

Dough:
2 cups water ( warm )
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon active dry yeast
6 tablespoon cooking oil
5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Glaze:
1/4 cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp butter, softened
1/14 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp warm milk
Dough: 1. In a standing mixer add warm water, sugar salt and yeast and let it stand for 5 minutes and bubbles start to form. 2. Add 6 tbsp of oil and then add flour on low speed one cup at a time. 3. Combine everything and mix dough for about 8 minutes on low speed. Dough will be stick to touch, but should not be sticking to bowl when it is being kneaded. 4. Oil your hands and a bowl with a little bit of cooking oil and oil the table where you will be placing the dough. 5. Form dough into a ball and place into oiled bowl. 6. Allow the dough to rise about 15 minutes. Filling: 7. Meanwhile make the filling. Start by melting the margarine in a bowl. 8. Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon to the margarine and mix well. 9. Once dough has risen, place dough onto a cutting board and pat dough flat, about 1 inch thick. 10. Cut with pizza cutter into 1 inch pieces. 11. In a greased bundt pan, place 1 layer of the dough pieces. 12. Pour 1/3 of the filling on the dough distribute evenly. 13. Place another layer of the dough on top of the filling and repeat with the remaining filling. 14. Add the remaining pieces of dough. 15. Place into preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Glaze: 16. While the bundt cake is inthe oven, prepare everything for the glaze. 17. Mix cream cheese and butter together with a small mixer. 18.Add the powdered sugar slowly. 19. Add the warm milk and vanilla extract. 20. The glaze should be thick, but easy to pour out of a cup. 21. Once bundt cake is done, take out of oven and place onto flat plate right away. 22. Pour glaze onto hot cinnamon bundt cake. 23. Allow the cake to cool 10-15 min and then enjoy!

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
