This easy pumpkin pecan banana bread recipe is my current favorite fall dessert! Sweet banana bread is mixed with pumpkin puree and topped with cinnamon sugar and crushed pecans!

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground all spice
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp salt
2 medium or 1 large banana
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
