Pumpkin Spice Muffins with Streusel Topping

Thanksgiving is coming early for me this year! Since I will be working on Thanksgiving and won't be able to come home, my friend and I decided to make pumpkin things early this year. I love pumpkin recipes, and we like our pumpkin things to be nice and spicy, so we overloaded these moist, dense muffins with spices. We also found a nice streusel topping to bring these muffins to a whole new level. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Muffins
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cloves
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup canned pumpkin
Topping
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp unsalted butter, cold and diced
