Rainbow-Vanilla Cake

A tasty, chilled treat for summer...can be made gluten-free as well!

1 1.75 quart container of rainbow sherbet
1 1.75 quart container of vanilla ice cream
1 box of gluten-free yellow cake mix
1 1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
