Raspberry Chocolate Coffee Cake

A dense, moist vanilla cake with chocolate streusel ribboning throughout, accompanied by tart, fresh raspberries. Oh, and a finishing touch of melted chocolate! Not too rich but just the right amount of sweetness for a special occasion breakfast!

Vanilla Coffee Cake:
3 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
1-1/4 c. sugar
3 large eggs, at room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. sour cream
1 c. semisweet or milk chocolate, melted

Raspberry Chocolate Filling:
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c. fresh or frozen raspberries
