Red Velvet layered Cheesecake


Moist red velvet cake sandwiching a creamy cheese layer, and a note of holiday spice

1 ½ cups of cake flour
6 large eggs
16 oz. of cream cheese (room temp)
1 oz. red food coloring
7 oz. of Oreo’s
7 oz. of honey graham crackers
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of all-spice
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
Step: 1 Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees, next in a large mixing bowl, mix 3 eggs, cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla, mix until you get a smooth texture than add to a baking pan and into the oven For 30 minutes in a water bath. Step: 2 in another mixing bowl, mix 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, cake flour, milk and food coloring and mix until Smooth, add to two baking pans and into the oven for 22-25 minutes. Step: 3 add butter to a small bowl with the all-spice and ginger then cook in a microwave for about 30 seconds or until completely melted. Next crush the Oreos and honey grams together until it’s Almost completely powder, then add it to the melted butter and mix well. Step: 4 add the Oreo-grams crumble to the half-baked red velvet cake, and continue baking When the velvet cake is finished baking let the cake cool on a wire rack. After 30 minutes check the Cheesecake, when it’s just a little jiggly cracks the oven door and finish baking for another 30 minutes Step: 5 when cheesecake is finished baking let it stand for 10 minutes, and then assemble with Cheesecake in the middle, serve and enjoy.
