Rocky Road Bars

These Rocky Road Bars are one of the treats I made for our family reunion. They were a BIG hit and ideal for a picnic. Chocolaty, gooey, nutty, yummy and with the ice cream cone marshmallows, they were colorful and fun! They are great to take camping, they store easy.

For Bars:
4 eggs
1/3 cup cocoa
2 teas. vanilla
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup walnut, chopped
1/4 teas. salt
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 lb. miniature marshmallows (I used ice cream cone shaped)

FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup whipping cream
3 to 4 cups powdered sugar
1 teas. vanilla

Melt butter, add cocoa and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each one. Add flour, salt, vanilla, and nuts. Bake in 12 x16 pan for 25 minutes at 350*. Remove from oven while still hot, place...
