Rosemary & Cranberry Spread

A delicious appetizer with the flavor combination of cranberries and rosemary--perfect for a party or get together.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened (substitute low-fat cream cheese if you want)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
5 tablespoons dried sweetened cranberries
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
fresh cracked pepper and kosher salt to taste
Put all of the cream cheese into a bowl and using a spoon, fold in all ingredients until well combined. Serve with crackers, bread, pita bread or chips. Notes Make sure your cream cheese is soft...

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
